Bostonians are fortunate to have many excellent choices for medical care when they get sick or hurt.
But for hospitals in the Boston region, like Tufts Medical Center, that means competition is fierce. Patients have an array of world class healthcare organizations in their backyards.
In the age of patient engagement, it’s become increasingly difficult for providers to stand out and differentiate themselves.
Tufts Medical Center understood this and they called us for help.
Focus on Care
The websites for Tufts Medical Center and their pediatric hospital, Floating Hospital for Children, were outdated, poorly reviewed by users, and not reflective of the national respect and rankings the brand has deservedly earned. So they asked us to lead an engagement to reintroduce them to the market and separate them from the competition.
We started by laying the groundwork and helping Tufts Medical Center assess their content management system (CMS) options. We completed extensive research through an online engagement survey. We created a digital strategy will enable the website to grow over the next three years and beyond. We embarked on a complex UX and IA phase – to incorporate extensive content over two websites – and ensure the user interface was easy to navigate.
We delivered an intuitive user experience with organized content on patient care, research and education. A clean, visually appealing site identity filled with imagery. An experience that symbolizes the brand’s focus on care and compassion, its commitment to helping patients. An experience that was built and implemented using Sitecore’s CMS solution.
