This nationwide shift just might be best represented in Bend, Oregon, a community that embodies the spirit of healthy living and an active lifestyle.
St Charles Health System, the largest provider of care in Central Oregon, has embraced the changing dynamics of healthcare and set the ambitious goal of creating America’s healthiest community.
They are visionaries, determined to improve the health and livelihood of their community. In need of a website that supported their vision and delivered a best-of-breed experience to their patients, they reached out to us for help.
We began with a strategy that helped create a business case for the project. We defined ROI targets and worked closely with the St Charles team to define the ideal user experience.
That includes funneling site visitors to their nearest St Charles location through geo-location – helping patients meet their needs and improving utilization across the four hospitals. It includes elevating health and wellness throughout the entire experience and design, promoting the St Charles mission.
We recommended a responsive design approach – what ultimately would become one of the first responsive hospital websites in the nation – to meet their objectives on mobile engagement and user experience. Our design is clean and simple, intuitive and guiding. The content is personal and wellness-focused.
We implemented a Sitecore CMS solution for the website and have begun leveraging their Digital Marketing System, to develop personalized content for users.
It’s a fresh, responsive approach for an inspiring community that’s raised the bar on healthy living.
