Project Manager

The Project Manager reports to the head of project management. This role requires strong leadership in which crosses over virtually every department. Success comes via strong web development knowledge, exposure to various technical platforms and software with a strong background in web project management. Client centric is in your DNA and your ability to work with diverse backgrounds and personalities is critical.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the execution of web development projects from conception through delivery, including resource management, scheduling, budget tracking, and development of project plans. The Project Manager must manage all factors that determine project success to ensure delivery within time, cost and quality parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Partners with other project leaders to drive teams of 8+ people.
  • Builds and structures the project team to ensure maximum performance. 
  • Structures and manages integrated, multi-track projects and/or programs of multiple projects. Including:
    • Provides purpose, direction and motivation to team. 
    • Clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria. 
    • Provides proactive recommendations and uses prior experience to recommend opportunities to resolve challenges that arise over the course of the project.
  • Leverages best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Responsible for ongoing client satisfaction. 
  • Manages peer-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.). 
  • Develops relationships with and ensures the appropriate participation of key client stakeholders and client executives. 
  • Provides day-to-day project contact for the client. 
     
Qualifications
  • 5+ years project management experience in successfully delivering marketing and technology solutions; agency experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, organized and an efficient time manager
  • Candidate should possess a clear understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and to deliver to budget
  • Able to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively 
  • Comprehend  Functional Requirements and Business documentation
  • Emergent understanding of MS Office tools 
  • Familiarity with HTML
