WEST PALM BEACH, Fla -- Primacy Achieves SOC 2 Compliance for 2018
The digital experience agency Primacy announced today that it has achieved Service Organization Control Type 2 Certification (SOC2) for the second consecutive year.
The certification attests that Primacy has undergone a third-party audit and met the data management and storage standards set forth by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA).
Widely considered the gold standard for data security, this certification and accompanying report detail Primacy’s security practices, policies, and procedures, and how they meet the principles of data security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Richard Wilford, Primacy’s VP of Cyber Security said, “This certification used to only be considered a requirement for SAAS and Cloud vendors, but we believe it should be mandatory for any service provider handling sensitive information. It’s critical that our clients know that we are equipped to deliver enterprise-level security practices that will protect their organization from the ever-evolving dangers of cybercrime.”
Stan Valencis, the founder and President of Primacy added, “Many of our clients are in highly regulated industries where security is paramount. By voluntarily undergoing this audit and once again meeting compliance, we’re sending a clear message about our commitment to exceeding standards and expectations when it comes to security.”
Primacy will continue to voluntarily undergo SOC2 Type 2 audits annually and will make the report available to current clients or prospects upon the execution of a non-disclosure agreement.
