Primacy’s SVP of Technology Solutions chosen as a finalist for the 17th Annual Women of Innovation Awards

Melissa Tait is recognized as a finalist for the 17th Annual Women of Innovation Awards honoring women leading the future of STEM in Connecticut.

WEST PALM BEACH, FL – A collaboration between the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC) and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT), the Women of Innovation Awards recognize the women who are innovating and leading the way in science and technology in Connecticut. To be eligible, nominees are required to be currently working or studying in Connecticut, demonstrate strong leadership abilities and serve as a mentor in some capacity.

Finalists of the Women of Innovation Awards were announced, and Primacy’s Melissa Tait made the list in the Small/Medium Business Innovation & Leadership category.

Melissa has been with Primacy since 2012. As SVP of Technology Solutions, she is an ardent advocate for digital technology’s potential to create a more inclusive world. Her passion for innovation has positively impacted clients such as Aetna, Cornell CALS, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, The Hartford, Rice University, SCAN Health Plan, Tufts Medical Center and UChicago Medicine.

And no stranger to award-winning work, the 2020 Webby Awards recognized Melissa and her team –alongside SCAN Health Plan – for creating a powerful empathy training course using virtual reality.
