Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist leads the execution of client initiatives for Engagement Marketing Projects such as Marketing Automation and Email Marketing.  This position requires the ability to lead client marketing programs by supporting program strategy presentations, implementing, QA’ing and testing Email and Marketing Automation programs, optimizing programs using platform analytics, website analytics and analysis tools and creating program insight and performance review presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Engagement Marketing
    • Support the Development of Marketing Strategies, Communication Strategies and Detailed Communication Plans (e.g., Communication Flows, Content Matrices, etc.)
    • Lead the development of email programs such as newsletters, nurture campaigns and individual mailings
    • Implement Email / Marketing Automation programs by loading templates, assets, coding program logic (if then program logic into platforms for sophisticated automated programs), QA’ing and testing email programs, resolving issues and launching programs into production
    • Work alongside creative and technical teams (internal/external - client) on content development, testing, tracking and platform integration
    • Analyze results, create reports and present to client – high level and granular reporting, using platforms such as Email / Marketing Automation systems like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Domo, etc.
    • Work closely within scope of client SOW and manage whole email process from content selection through tracking analysis
    • As necessary:
      • Lead the implementation and integration of Marketing Automation and Email platforms (stand up new platforms)
      • Implement cross-channel communication programs (e.g., email, social, sms, etc.)
    • Communication

    • Communicates day to day business issues both verbally and in written form in a concise and meaningful manner
    • Able to effectively create presentations for most situations

    • Proactively manages client/project budgets against agency deliverables
    • Serves as resource for department leadership in annual planning/client forecasting and plan building

  • Utilizes the resources of their team and the overall department in order to achieve our goals

  • Manage campaigns to meet client goals while providing outstanding customer service
  • Grow client relationships through leadership and continuous program improvement
  • Advance the services and practices of the Marketing group through leadership of internal initiatives

 

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience with Email / Marketing Automation plaftorms such as: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua, IBM Watson, HubSpot, etc.
  • Fully understands the data landscape and how to build/justify attribute marketing/automation programs through to the user experience
  • Must work well with teams and have a positive, goal-oriented attitude
  • Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized and an efficient time Specialist
  • Able to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively
  • Experience using MS Office tools (esp. Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) necessary
  • Ability to lead account relationship, define campaign performance objectives and ID strategies to meet
  • Apply learnings/market knowledge to help define client strategies and inform agency growth potential
  • Salesforce Certifications (Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud) a plus
