New Business Lead

As Primacy’s New Business Lead, you will work collaboratively across all agency solutions with a focus on growing the agency’s client portfolio. The ideal candidate will understand and leverage Primacy’s core competencies and brand in new markets as well as growing working with SME’s in Healthcare, Financial Services, and Higher Education categories. As a lead, you will navigate and nurture new business opportunities by prospecting via networking, events and inbound/outbound sales. You will work with senior strategic team members to coordinate new business pitch development and execution including qualifying, prospecting, and presenting in client facing forums. We are seeking a smart energetic personality who understands how to effectively demonstrate the capabilities, value and benefits of a full-service, digital-first marketing and technology agency. The right candidate will know what it takes to meet impeccable client satisfaction levels. You will be required to broker and guide internal resources that are uniquely selected to position Primacy best in order to meet and deliver client’s business needs as well as closing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities 

  • Execute upon prospecting and lead generation plan: identify targets and plan design to convert prospects into loyal clients including target lists and research based insights
  • Manage outbound sales strategy
  • Manage RFP and proposal process to increase efficiencies and win rate including on time, on spec and on budget
  • Work with internal team to develop accurate scopes of work for new business proposals and contracts
  • Work with SME’s to develop winning proposals that reflect strategic thinking
  • Content development including asset library, case studies, survey responses, presentations, and post-mortem summaries
  • Creation of category market strategies including sourcing, qualifying, differentiation/value proposition story telling
  • Own and manage contract process
  • Collaborate as the captain with cross-agency internal teams to drive and ideate new opportunities
  • Attend conferences relevant to lead generation
  • Lead sales status and reporting to forecast and inform progress against plan

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of agency-side business development / sales with proven track record of revenue growth (preferably in a similar type of agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business oriented degree
  • Client facing persona and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead agency through new business process front to end
  • Ability to understand client business challenges and develop proposals that are more than scopes of work
  • Master communicator with ability to translate a distinct perspective on client’s business to all stakeholders relative to Primacy’s solutions
  • Salesmanship DNA; Identifies the power base and critical issues before anyone else, a resilient and empathetic persona to negotiate the close, a prepared overachiever, can create a compelling story with a compelling network of human capital
  • Position is based in Farmington, CT, Boston, MA, or West Palm Beach, FL; Ability to travel is required
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM
