Primacy recognized for its expertise in design and user interface, technology, branding and strategic thinking through its work with Emmanuel College
Primacy today announced it took home top honors in the Education category at the 2014 MITX’s What’s Next Awards for its innovative work with Emmanuel College.
Since 1996, the MITX Award shows have grown to become the largest and most prestigious award competitions in the country for marketing innovations, celebrating the best creative and technological accomplishments emerging from New England.
“As a higher education institution, with such a tech-savvy generation, it is crucial that both current and prospective students have a seamless and enjoyable user experience on our website,” said Molly Honan, AVP, Marketing Communications at Emmanuel College. “It is exciting to have our work with Primacy recognized by the marketing community as we continue our mission to bring the best experience to our students, both on and offline.”
Emmanuel and Primacy partnered to redesign the College’s public-facing website, emmanuel.edu. The redesigned site is dynamic, engaging and informative, featuring improved navigation, overhauled content pages, audience-focused pages, and topic-oriented pages that showcase key aspects of Emmanuel, all driven by an underlying thematic taxonomy. The new site, designed with the increased use of tablets in mind, also features a full mobile version optimized for smartphone users. The mobile version enables access to all content and allows the site visitor to toggle between versions at any point of their experience.
