Digital Marketing Project Manager

The Project Manager partners with the Account Manager to deliver on projects throughout the agency. These can range from media planning, buying, strategies to large CMS website builds, promotional campaigns, video shoots and editing, branding projects, VR experience, etc. The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding, is very organized and thrives on helping clients problem solve. The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects from conception through delivery, including resource management, scheduling, budget tracking, and development of project plans. The Project Manager must manage all factors that determine project success to ensure delivery within time, cost and quality parameters.

Responsibilities 

  • Ability to manage and develop timelines of varying delivery dates and complexity (i.e. discovery, creative, marketing, tech, launch)
  • Ability to manage internal Primacy deliverables as well as integration with a one or two third party vendors
  • Ability to stay ahead of potential issues and raise need for escalation ahead of time
  • Develops estimates, outlining deliverables and assumptions and consults with project team to plan, estimate, and manage targets to achieve overall goal
  • Manages projects towards reducing and eliminating risk. Anticipating necessary contingency plans and responds mindfully for resolutions
  • Continuously communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure complete service and delivery expectations
  • Exercises leadership for the team by demonstrating strong work ethics, mature interactions
  • Works with internal primacy resources as well as third party vendors to manage scope of small to medium size complexity and numerous deliverables (i.e. discovery, creative, marketing, tech, launch)
  • Ability to identify risk/issues and work with AM to mitigate and resolve; provide recommendations for solve. Ability to stay ahead of potential issues and raise need for escalation ahead of time
  • Ability to identify, mitigate and provide resolution for timeline issues within the internal primacy team
  • Ability to function in an ambiguous situation, corralling the team and working towards resolution of situation. Not necessarily needing to know the answer, but knowing how to organize the team to obtain the answer
  • Ability to manage mid-sized projects with several concurrent deliverables and dependencies

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in agency project management
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Candidate must be detail oriented, organized and an efficient time manager
  • Candidate should possess a clear understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and to deliver to budget
  • Able to be flexible and tolerate ambiguity while still operating effectively
  • Comprehend Functional Requirements and Business documentation
  • Strong understanding of MS Office tools
  • Technical understanding and CMS experience
